Leadership for Change

The main reason why I am taking leadership for change is because I'm the type who disagrees with a type of system, method, and/or way of life that has been constant for a prolonged period. In other words, there is always room for improvement and improvement is change. However, an individual can't just step up one day and claim he or she wants to make a difference. Like we discussed in class, Barack Obama didn't wake up one day and said "I want to make change". He went to school, did his research, made plans, and then shared his ideas. I feel like if I ever felt that I needed to make some type of change wherever it may be, I would need to follow those cruicial steps plus more.
